diversity
At Munck Carter, we recognize that great lawyers along with our staff do not come from a single source, nor do they look and think alike. We are committed to an inclusive, open and respectful environment where all our personnel are recognized for their achievements and encouraged to realize their fullest potential. Our diversity, or rather, our inclusiveness, makes us a stronger law firm. A more creative law firm. And a law firm that brings to bear varied perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, talents and interests in the service of our clients.
For these reasons, our ongoing diversity and inclusion initiatives are a key element of our firm strategy. That’s why our Diversity Committee, comprised of lawyers and staff, includes two members of our Executive Committee and is co-chaired by our Managing Partner. The Committee is charged with developing, implementing and monitoring our success in recruiting, mentoring, retaining and promoting a diverse workforce, and supporting community-wide diversity initiatives.
We value our differences and are continually striving to expand upon our long-standing commitment to diversity. We are committed to hiring, retaining and encouraging people from diverse backgrounds, without regard to race, color, ethnicity, age, gender, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, or family status.
We also work to create opportunities for individuals outside of our firm family by sharing our time, financial resources and talent in professional, civic and charitable organizations that promote diversity in our communities, including the following:
