Kristina M. Oropeza is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation Section where she concentrates her practice in areas of business and commercial, labor and employment and general litigation.

Prior to joining Munck Carter, Ms. Oropeza acquired significant litigation experience in numerous areas including business and commercial litigation, products liability, labor and employment law, legal malpractice, and insurance law. Ms. Oropeza also has trial experience, as well as experience in arbitration proceedings.

Representative Experience:

  • Represented defendant officers of oil and gas company in million dollar dispute.
  • Represented major tire manufacture in connection with multi-million dollar motor vehicle accident.
  • Represented two major electronics manufactures in numerous cases involving products liability suits in connection with refrigerators, televisions, and microwaves.
  • Represented major manufacturer of copy machines in multi-million dollar products liability suit. 
  • Represented governmental entities in various labor and employment suits.
  • Negotiated favorable settlements for numerous business disputes.
  • Successfully defended injunctions involving misappropriation of trade secrets, covenants not to compete, unfair competition and related torts.
