Bryan D. Snoddy is an Associate at Munck Carter, and is a member of the Firm's Litigation section concentrating his practice in the areas of intellectual property and complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts nationwide. Mr. Snoddy has experience in cases involving corporate disputes, securities issues, tax issues, bankruptcy issues, insurance and indemnification, intellectual property and admiralty.

Mr. Snoddy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996 in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. While in college, he won the Hoechst Celanese Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Phytochemistry Research and President's Achievement Award. Mr. Snoddy earned his law degree at Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, where he was Dean's List Scholar and graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Snoddy was a law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Mr. Snoddy served with distinction in the United State Air Force as a logistics and transportation officer rising to the rank of Captain. He has received honors as Company Grade Officer of the Quarter and Company Grade Officer of the Year for his command. He has held a top secret security clearance and negotiated for U.S. military interests in concert with the Dept. of State and DoD.

  • Successfully defended Fortune 500 companies from patent infringement suits from Markman stage through successful appeal at Federal Circuit.
  • Drafted patent opinions for Fortune 500 companies regarding Markman construction, infringement and invalidity issues.
  • Performed jury research on multiple cases to accurately predict favorable outcomes.
  • Developed effective demonstrative animation exhibits for complex patent matters.
  • Drafted provisional and utility patent applications.
  • Prosecuted utility applications from filing to notice of allowance.
