Brooks W Taylor is an Associate at Munck Carter, practicing in the Intellectual Property section as a patent attorney registered before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Taylor concentrates his practice on intellectual property due diligence for mergers and acquisitions; counseling clients on identifying and protecting intellectual property; licensing and litigating intellectual property; and providing infringement and validity.

Mr. Taylor's practice includes domestic and international patent procurement and enforcement; counseling clients on identifying, protecting and exploiting intellectual property; analysis of infringement and invalidity in support of litigation; and intellectual property due diligence in the acquisition of technology-based companies.  Prior to beginning the practice of law, Mr. Taylor spent eighteen years as an engineer designing automated lighting control systems and control consoles, and directing software development.  He spent five years managing a portfolio of domestic and international patents and trademarks; identifying, prosecuting and licensing intellectual property; developing and implementing a confidentiality policy for protection of trade secrets; and managing patent infringement lawsuits.
